Heritage Untamed
A fly fisher and a guide beside a mountain river

Patagonia

Patagonia Wild

A week of cold water and distance. Trout rivers on the Andean side, with days built around conditions rather than a calendar.

Illustrative image

Spring creeks, freestone rivers and lake mouths, fished with a guide who knows which of them is working this week. The water that fishes best in Patagonia moves with the wind, the snowmelt and the temperature, so we keep the week flexible on purpose.

Between fishing days there is the rest of it: steppe driving, southern beech forest, wildlife and the kind of silence people are not expecting. The week is deliberately unhurried, because the distances are long and rushing them ruins the point.

Questions about this experience

Do I need to be an experienced fly fisher?
No. We match the water and the guide to your level, and a beginner on the right river has a better week than an expert on the wrong one. Tell us honestly where you are and we will plan around it.
